Every year at Cornerstone, we have what we call our “By Faith Benefit”, in which we all gather together for one cause, and that is to reach people around the world. This year, however, the traditional name of “By Faith Benefit” will be given a face-lift, and given a new modern name. The new name from this year and forward will be “Global Effects”. The reason we decided to go with Global Effects, was because the impact that our church is having here locally in Fort Worth, Texas, is having lasting global effects here and around the world. Our goal this year is to raise $100,000.00 to reach people in vast parts of the world including, India, Nepal and many other parts of Asia and Europe. Our Haiti relief effort is going very well as of the present moment. Hopefully in a few weeks, Rick Vogeler will be landing in Haiti to meet with Jacque to set up A Place of Hope Haiti orphanage. Please keep this in your prayers and keep in mind that these people need Christ as much as you and I. Please pray that they will be open to hearing and seeing how God can work in a time such as this. Last October the Cornerstone church family gathered together to give an offering by faith to the work of God overseas. In November a team of Cornerstone staff and volunteers travelled to India to train 600 Bible College students at Berean Baptist College in areas of personal evangelism, practical Christian living and how to run youth camps.

During these spring months those young people have run ten youth camps and one VBS and God has blessed in an incredible way. So far with one camp yet to complete we have seen over 1700 young adults and children get saved. That is what God is doing through the ministry of Cornerstone Baptist Church. The faithful giving, praying and going of God’s people made it happen.
