This Sunday, we will start off with a new series entitled God’s Game Plan, in which we will set out to find God’s will for our lives. So many times, we will set out to do something whether it’s to start going to church more or giving to God in Tithes or being more involved in worship, we always find stumbling blocks that get in the way, and we can’t seem to find how to overcome them. In this series, that is exactly what we will be doing and we will see real life stories on how this can be done through Christ. You don’t want to miss out.

This three week series from Pastor Bobby will be a discussion on what God’s plan for our lives is. God may not always speak to us in a “verbal” way or maybe even a physical way, but God will always speak to us in our hearts. God wants us to follow and lead people to Him, and he wants each and every one of us to be an example for him. This message series is meant to help us with being able to understand what God has for our lives and what we need to do in order to have a plan for the future.

Sometimes people say “I don’t get enough time with the Pastor” or “I have a question I want to ask the Pastor, but I didn’t get a chance to do so after the service.” At Cornerstone Baptist Church we want to make it possible for the Pastor to spend additional time with people as well as answer questions in an informal setting. On January 4, 2009 we began a new segment on Sunday Nights at 6:15PM called “15 Minutes with the Pastor.” Pastor Herrell will answer questions, chat about the weather or sports and make us aware of how God is blessing our church and overseas ministries. This is a great forum to have your questions answered.

If there is a question you have, email them to 15@cbcfamily.org to have them mentioned in “15 Minutes with the Pastor.” (If you wish to not have your name mentioned in conjunction with a question, please indicate that in your email and we will respect your wishes)

We hope 15 Minutes with Pastor will be a help and encouragement to our church in 2009.
