Book Drive

Volunteers have been sorting, counting and boxing books by the truck loads.  We presently have received over 5,000 books!  Thanks to the generous donations from many Cornerstone members, Pebbles Preschool parents, Jack C. Binion Elementary, A. V. Cato Elementary, Haltom High School and Azle Public Library.  We are expecting 10,000 textbooks to arrive from Carroll ISD and more volunteers are needed.  If you can volunteer your time, we meet every Thursday @ 7:00 pm here at the church.

Our greatest need now is monetary donations to help with the cost of shipping the books to Alpha English School.  If you would like to partner with Cornerstone and  A Place of Hope International,  you can give online at cbcfamily.org/give.

You can access pictures and videos here for support displays.

Hi I am Susan and I want to tell you about an exciting project we have going on
at Cornerstone,  and I would love for you to be a part. In the month of
April, mission teams from our church traveled to Manipur, India to help out with Vacation
Bible Schools and Youth Camps in several different villages. At one of the villages they
visited Alpha English School. The school is in a building that we would consider a barn,
it has a dirt floor, wooden benches and a blackboard. The most heartbreaking
discovery is these students have little to no access to textbooks or readers.
We know what a difference having books to read made in our education so we have
partnered with A Place of Hope International to collect books for them. At the present
time Arligton Public Library and Carroll ISD are going to donate their retired books.
So, I want to extend the invitation for you to participate. You can drop off your used
books to Cornerstone which is at 7955 N. Beach St., Fort Worth, TX, 76137 or for
monetary donations to help with the cost of shipping go on our website at
cbcfamily.org/give. Thanks for your time and as always, GOD BLESS.
